David Cage apparently gave a TED talk about storytelling in video games, and if that isn’t a solid example of why you shouldn’t blindly accept something as gospel just because it’s in a TED talk, I don’t know what is.

I used to think there was no way Beat Saber losing track of the controllers was the game’s fault — it had to be the Oculus runtime’s — but somehow v0.12 appeared to make it worse, and reinstalling v0.11.2 on Steam made it somewhat playable again.

Hadn’t played anything in VR but Beat Saber for months; booted up Google Earth and had to close it after a couple minutes because I could feel the motion sickness coming. I guess I’m done trying to enjoy non-stationary experiences.
